The 23rd Annual Cystic Fibrosis Music Show's was held on Saturday, March 19th. The doors open at 5:00 p.m. The night was kicked off with the silent auction. Then at about 6:45 p.m. a live auction begin with Billy Sexton auctioneering. Both auctions were packed full of donated items that everyone enjoyed.
Next up was the wonderful group, Jessica's Friends singers. This group, made up of about 60 people this year, has been performing each year and they are always a crowd pleaser. This year's group was under the direction of Diane Reed and her two daughters.
Then about 8:00 p.m., five time Grammy winner artist, Marty Stuart took the stage. His high energy show was enjoyed by all as he entertained them with some of his hit songs like "Tempted", "Burn Me Down", "Now That's Country" and everyone's favorite "Hillbilly Rock" and many, many more.
Everyone got an extra surprise as country legend and Marty's good friend Buck Trent made a special appearance.
Stuart continue to perform for approximately 2 hours. After the concert was over, all of the show goers got another treat, because Stuart continue to sign autographs and take pictures with his fans until midnight.
This was another huge success for cystic fibrosis. There was a whole host of people that volunteered to make the 23rd Annual Cystic Fibrosis Music Show such a big success. We appreciate all their efforts and their thoughtfulness.
